PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Counseling Services

Counseling services are provided by social workers and MSW graduate student interns.  Our social workers provide clinical case management and counseling services to lupus patients for a variety of issues that include:

  • Medical concerns and need for resources
  • Mental and social health concerns
  • Legal issues
  • Food insufficiencies
  • Unemployment needs
  • Transportation

Education and Advocacy Services

The Center for Lupus Care, Inc. helps raise awareness by working with community leaders and educating the public about systemic lupus through lectures, symposiums, patient conferences, and workshops in an effort to reduce health disparities experienced by lupus patients.  The center also offers an on-site library of books, brochures, and pamphlets for anyone to read and research.
